For this challenge we were told to use....."POLKA DOTS! Anything with lot's of polka dots!" I know it is a little out of season, but ......This is what came to mind.

I used the DCWV Halloween stack and my trusty Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I used Alphalicous short stack for the words. Thanks for looking! Come on over to http://www.sugarsweetpapertreats.blogspot.com/ and play with us.

SSPT Design Team Challenge #3 "Roses"

For Deb's challenge:"April showers bring may flowers...Main focus for May 1st challenge is flowers, but there is a twist...something has to be 3D - it doesnt matter what, it can be a box, journal, purse, an altered item or a card with a 3D embellishment on it. Anything goes the choice is yours...just remember flowers and 3 dimensional."

This was a great one for Mothers Day. I used Suebluerobots tutorial to make the paper flowers. The 6 petal flowers were cut from the Cricut Storefront cartridge. I also etched the glass vase with hearts from the wedding solutions cartridge but could not get a good picture (sorry).

I have received several questions about the tutorial here is the link to Sue's blog http://susanbluerobot.blogspot.com/2008/09/how-to-make-paper-roses.html

June Class Project "Summer Treats"

The second project for class is a chipboard Scrapbook or Recipe Book which ever you desire and Card. It looks so YUMMY!! I love this paper stack. I used the DCWV Sweet Stack for this project, and some of my new embossing folders.

This class will be held on June 20 at ACMoore in Frederick, MD. see store for details

Being a part of the new design team over at Sugar Sweet Paper Treats now has me always thinking about sweets. Go take a look you will see what I mean.

June Class Project "Family Star Album"

I have finally finished my projects for my June classes. Here is the first one. I had so much fun doing this. This album is full of cricut embellishments and frames. The flash from the camera reflected off the glitter cardstock I used for the butterfly, the color is much better in person.

This class will be taught on June 13 at ACMoore in Frederick, M.D. see store for details.
