SSPT 1st DT Challenge "SWEET 16" card

This was not the original idea I had in my head for this project.... but I love the way it turned out and I hope you do too!

For our first challenge from Jason we could create anything. We just needed to use the word "sweet" use mostly "pink" and have a "sweet treat" as our element. This was a great first challenge thank you.

I used my new Sizxix embossing folder, nesties labels 4, and paper from K&Co. Sweet Talk stack. I colored the embossed image with chalk. I put some stickles on the candle (it did not show up well in the picture). Cut the word "Sweet" from Cricut Stone Script at 1 inch and the "16" from Plantin Schoolbook at 3/4 in.

May Class Project "Piglet Card"

For this card I used Magic Wanda's (from the Cricut MB) idea from her heart cut file, however I did not use the cut file. I used the centerpoint feature on the expression machine with the eksuccess punches to achieve the same result for my piglet card. Thanks Wanda for the inspiration.

May Class Project "Magical Makeover"

Phew! what a busy 2 weeks I have had. 1 Dance Company Concert, taxes finished finally, got accepted to my first design team and my May class projects are posted. Now I can concentrate on my first Design Team Challenge. Wow! check out the ones that have come in so far over on the SSPT blog. I hope to have mine done in the next day or so.
