Cake Update 1

ok I tried out my cake machine. I need to find the right consistency for the gum paste that in it self has a learning curve. But when I used the icing sheets....I got perfect cuts the first time out. Easy as can be. I will have the chance to spend more time with it this week.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day...What will you be doing today?

I will be teaching 2 wonderful classes today at ACMoore and this morning I finally have the time to try out my new Cricut Cake. I am so excited to get started. I will keep you updated on my experience with her later on tonight. BTW we got the cake machines and supplies in the store yesterday. Happy scrapping!

I can't wait to break into the box when it arrives. I have my gum past already to color. Oh but tomorrow I need to go get my shortening. I have so many ideas swirling in my head already for class projects. Have you seen the images on the elegant cakes cartridge? They will be perfect for scrap pages too!

March Class Schedule and finally Back to crafting!

Bingo is over, what a great day we had. Now I can get back to crafting. Yipee!! I need to start with 20 12in red hearts for one of the dance teachers for the spring recital, then lots of puzzle pieces to decorate the store for ACMoore's Autism Campagin. After that complete my May class projects. It's going to be a crafty week.

I do fundraising work for my daughters dance company 24/7 SRC we are a 501c3 non profit org. Way Out of My Comfort Zone Card

This is way out there for me I had such fun doing it. I had a Hollyberry House stamp for a couple of years now and recently had seen a few examples posted on other blogs so I though I would give it a try while I was snowed in yesterday and my Cricut needed a rest. I used my copics and stamped and colored the image 4 time to cut out the various layers. I used my nesties for the backround and lots of smooch spritz. Where have I been I love the smooch I hope you can see the sparkle in the picture. TFL I hope you like it.

We are all snowed in today. Bummer for my son. Have to cancel the birthday bash planned for tomorrow. Oh well mother nature had other plans. I have been crafting since last night and have come up with some goodies. I will try to get them posted quickly. My ACMoore class for today the Gypsy LOVE book will be rescheduled for March 13 2:30-5:30.
